Job Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting one of our clients through cleaning, manipulating, and conducting research on all manufacturing data, and applying this data to sophisticated analytics programs.

Essential Functions

Data Analysis:

  • Design, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing performance reports.
  • Support management in providing analysis on manufacturing, procurement, inventory, financials, etc.
  • Develop data models to aid in better understanding the impact of manufacturing activities to Key Performance Indicators of the manufacturing sites.
  • Develop necessary manufacturing reporting and analysis.
  • Collaboratively assist in the analysis of data through defining relevant information.
  • Prepare timely reports to highlight discrepancies in a dataset.
  • Leverage statistical modeling and mathematical methods for projects and deep dive analysis

Manufacturing Data Reporting:

  • Build and maintain KPI reporting for production performance for a network of manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis.
  • Work with IT to recommend new technologies for analytics and data science.
  • Work with IT teams as a liaison for all manufacturing data solutions.
  • Build predictive cost reduction models for manufacturing projects and initiatives.


  • Preferred but not required:
  • Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Position
  • Experience managing people/projects

*experience may include a combination of work experience and education


  • Experience with scripting languages – Python, SQL, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in various enterprise resource solution tools such as Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS
  • Experience in data visualization platforms e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, Cognos etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Strong and proven analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interpret, concisely, data to all team member levels.
  • Working knowledge of statistical models that can be used on large data sets to infer useful information

  • Preferred but not required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar)


  • Preferred but not required: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Higher
