Payroll Specialist

Taskforce is hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for our employees while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and HR, or related field is preferred. 

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in payroll processing 

• Knowledge of payroll software and systems (experience in payroll software Pantheon would be considered as an advantage). 

• Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word and Outlook. 

• Experience in payroll processing for a vast number of employees. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in payroll processing for 3000 employees 

• Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or benefits 

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits 

• Maintain payroll files and records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. 

• Run reports and gather materials as needed to assist with annual audit and preparation of year-end tax returns 

• Assist in the implementation of best practices for payroll processes and systems 

• Other duties and special projects may be assigned
