We are searching for applicants to enroll in our paid Certified Coding Professionals CPC® Academy program as Medical coders. You get trained, certified, and hired!The ideal applicant should have excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken). Medical coders turn diagnoses, health histories, and treatment plans into codes used for record documentation and billing. A certificate program prepares students to pass the examinations necessary to become certified as professional coders.
Required qualifications:
● Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus;
● Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications – multitasking;
● A high level of attention to detail is required;
● Great organizational and time management skills;
● Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
● Any type of education, preferably Medical Highschool, Higher Medical School, Faculty of Biotechnology
Be open to further education after completion of the CPC exam, if you are chosen, to go through the Billing class. This will be offered to the top candidates that show a working knowledge of the coding guidelines and will mean a great investment in your future at Taskforce. Also, be open to working in positions that will require talking on the phone reaching out to patients and various insurance companies as needed, depending on the client’s needs.
The Medical Coder job position is part of Taskforce’s Healthcare Division. As a Medical Coder in Taskforce, you’ll have an opportunity to learn from experts in the field of medical coding, work with a team of experienced medical coders, opportunity to advance in your career, and travel to the USA.
