Taskforce is hiring a Junior Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for our employees while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and HR, or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing, payroll software and systems (e.g. Pantheon) is an advantage.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience in payroll processing for a vast number of employees would be considered as advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in payroll processing for 2000+ employees
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or benefits
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits
  • Maintain payroll files and records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Run reports and gather materials as needed to assist with annual audit and preparation of year-end tax returns
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure accurate employee records
  • Assist in the implementation of best practices for payroll processes and systems
  • Other duties and special projects may be assigned
